Fast Printer, Fast Results!
On race day the last thing you want to be waiting on is a slow printer.
Printers have come a long way since the old dot matrix printers. Consumers now have options of inkjet or laser. Some inkjet printers are now as fast as a laser printers and a lot more portable. The cost of cartridges is a major expense and should be evaluated by the consumer when purchasing a new printer.
I personally prefer a laser printer, it is dependable and it seems rare that I replace the toner cartridge. I was able to pick one up during a Christmas sale at a local office supply store for a great deal. Of course I always carry a backup cartridge with me to events, as you never know when you will run dry.
